The problem
I built Sausage Dog because I was looking for a job, and rewriting my CV for every single application felt like a full-time job in itself.
I tried the AI CV tools that were already out there. They all had the same problem. They'd take a perfectly fine CV and make it sound completely over the top. Suddenly I was “spearheading synergies” and I didn't recognise myself reading it back.
The build
So I figured there must be a better way. Eventually I just decided to build my own. A CV tool that uses your actual skills and real experience instead of inventing things you've never done.
Once I had that working, I wanted to help with the whole process of getting a job, not just step one. So I kept adding things. Cover letters, interview prep, follow-up emails, LinkedIn rewrites. The full job-hunt loop, in one place.
